Healer Bradley seems to have received lovely news. But sadly it means I am now without a job, as he has been packing to move to France. I think I shall have to put myself on a budget and perhaps not purchase so many cat toys. Perhaps Cutter will be helpful and stop eating them.

[locked to girls & hufflepuffs only]

I don't understand men. Truly, I don't. For those men who can see this, I don't mean any insult, and you are my friends and you know I adore you. But truly, can anyone explain why some days it seems as if everyone has gone mad but me?

Took a slightly long lunch because the queue at the sandwich shop was much slower than I expected. But I did pick up the new trick snitch to replace the one Cutter ate.

I think I should start getting out of my flat more often.

Hannah's dating Healer Bradley. I think he's terribly cute and I wish her well. I sort of wish it had been me.

I think I had fun last week with George. Does he like me? Okay, I had a lot of fun. Although he said I got tipsy, and I did feel pretty awful the next morning, and I remember dancing like I was someone else. But it was fun. I just don't know... I don't know if I could do it if I weren't tipsy. But I liked it. No one scritches me.

I didn't know there were alcoholic drinks that tasted good.

Oh, and thank you for the suggestions of outfits. I think what I picked worked. Someone pinched my bottom, then George punched him, then he punched George, then I drank the fruit juice, which was quite lovely tasting.

This morning Cutter managed to knock over the lamp while I was playing with him. Did you know a seven month old kitten can jump as high as my shoulders? And he's already quite large, over ten pounds, and not a bit of fat at all. I begin to wonder how large he will be when he's grown.

Work continues to be good, and Healer Bradley is a wonderful boss (no, I am not saying that because you are reading this). Life after work continues to be quiet. If I miss anything from my old job, it is the company. I most certainly do not miss irate customers, refolding displays after patrons can't be bothered to replace things nicely, nor do I miss being yelled at by lovely ladies who underestimated their size. But I never quite realized that while I never drank when we went out for a pint after work, I did enjoy the conversation, even if it were mostly them speaking.

And to conclude, for anyone who wishes to see this lovely adorable cat I keep speaking of, this is my Cutter: )

I give up on owning plants. Besides, I think Cutter actually ate one this morning when I wouldn't let him have any of my toast at breakfast. He doesn't even like marmalade, so I can't think what he was upset about.

What does one wear to a dance club?
